CHEF TOMAŽ KAVČIČ
Tomaž Kavčič is a renowned Slovenian chef and a fourth-generation restaurateur, leading the acclaimed Gostilna pri Lojzetu at Zemono Manor. His culinary creations are deeply inspired by childhood memories and a profound respect for tradition and local ingredients—reimagined into works of edible art. Chef Kavčič is a member of esteemed gastronomic associations such as Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and Le Soste, and he was the first and long-standing president of the Slovenian chapter of Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe. In 2017, he received the JRE European Innovation Award, and in 2020, his restaurant was honored with a Michelin star—recognition of his visionary approach to cuisine.
